We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team and take part in one of our biggest projects. As our first Golang expert, you will play a key role in shaping automation, tooling, and cloud-native infrastructure, while driving best practices across the engineering organization.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and optimize cloud infrastructure to support scalable and reliable applications.
- Manage and operate Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads.
- Develop automation and tooling using Go (Golang).
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Apply GitOps principles and workflows with Argo CD.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and observability with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, and OpenTelemetry (instrumentation, traces/metrics/logs, Collector configuration).
- Collaborate with developers to support microservices and distributed systems.
- Ensure networking, security, and Linux systems are robust and well-maintained.
- Contribute to open-source DevOps or Kubernetes projects.
- Optionally integrate Kafka into OpenTelemetry pipelines.
Requirements:
- 2–4 years of professional experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering.
- Strong hands-on expertise with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
- Proficiency in Go (Golang) for automation and tooling.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry).
- Solid understanding of networking, security, and Linux systems.
- Experience implementing GitOps workflows with Argo CD.
- Hands-on with OpenTelemetry (app instrumentation, configuring Collectors).
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
- Contributions to open-source DevOps or Kubernetes projects.
- Experience with Kafka in OTel pipelines is a plus.
- German language proficiency is nice to have (reading, writing, speaking).
- Excellent use of English (B2+)
