Job Title: Cloud Engineer (Kubernetes / DevOps)

Location: Fornebu, Norway (Hybrid working)

Start Date: As soon as possible

End Date: 31 December 2026 (with option to extend until 30 June 2027)

Visa/Sponsorship: Must be eligible to work in Norway. Candidates must be able to obtain security clearance to Confidential level.

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer with strong Kubernetes and DevOps expertise to join a high-performing infrastructure team supporting critical national platforms. This role offers the opportunity to work with modern technologies in a private cloud environment, contributing to secure, reliable, and scalable services used at national level.

Key Responsibilities:

• Migrate Docker services to Kubernetes
• Implement security improvements within Kubernetes
• Build automation and pipelines in Kubernetes environments
• Develop workflows and ways of working in Kubernetes
• Integrate services with Hashicorp Vault
• Design and optimise services in Kubernetes clusters

Requirements (Must Have):

• Strong professional experience in DevOps roles
• Extensive knowledge of Kubernetes, including cluster operation and maintenance

Desirable Skills (Nice to Have):

• Experience with setting up and managing Hashicorp Vault
