As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our Privileged Access Management (PAM) services, based on CyberArk and related products such as Conjur. Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cyber Security Engineer to join our team in Amsterdam, Netherlands. As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our Privileged Access Management (PAM) services, based on CyberArk and related products such as Conjur. You will work closely with our team to ensure the security and integrity of our systems and collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain PAM services, including password management for various platforms such as Linux and Oracle
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, technical specifications, and testing plans
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure secure coding practices and participate in code reviews
- Participate in the development of test cases and maintain test scripts
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging threats and vulnerabilities, and recommend mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with the incident response team to respond to security incidents and provide technical expertise
- Participate in 24/7 standby schedule for upgrades and fixes (rarely required)
- Strong knowledge and experience with CyberArk and its components (PSM, PSMP, CPM, OPM, Conjur, etc.)
- Experience with role-based access and audit-driven requests
- Knowledge and experience working in a SCRUM/Agile DevOps team
- Strong programming/scripting skills (e.g., Python, PowerShell)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a good command of the English language (Dutch is not mandatory but is an advantage)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritising multiple tasks and meeting deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights
- Experience with Agile methods and frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
- Knowledge of cloud security platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Experience with security orchestration, automation, and response (SOAR) tools
- Familiarity with security information and events management (SIEM) systems.
