Java Software Developer

Note: This is a Hybrid role with 4 days of on-site work and 1 day of WFH work. Only apply if you're comfortable being on-site in Cambridge, ON, four days a week.

Requirements:

• 3+ years' experience in developing, debugging, and deploying applications. 
• Hands-on experience in developing REST API using Java and Spring Boot is a must. 
• Hands-on experience in writing Junit tests. 
• Experience implementing high-performance and responsiveness of APIs. 
• Experience implementing security and data protection measures in API design. 
• Integrate APIs with external systems. 
• Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives. 
• Experience in deploying applications using Docker. 

Skills and Experience:

• Able to work collaboratively with the team. 
• Comfort working directly with End Users to support issues or elicit new requirements is essential. 
• Must be familiar with Jira. 
• Good oral and written communication skills is a must. 

Long-term contract, with the potential for extension based on performance.
