Job Summary:

Responsible for the successful delivery of multiple related projects within a program, aligned to business strategy. This role requires strong stakeholder management, planning, communication, and risk management skills, as well as the ability to mentor junior team members and manage cross-functional resources.

Key Responsibilities

Program & Project Delivery

• Lead the delivery of multiple related projects under a unified program to achieve strategic objectives.
• Develop, facilitate, and oversee complex business cases, plans, schedules, and ROI analysis.
• Ensure alignment of cross-functional plans and manage dependencies across workstreams.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior program/project team members.

Planning & Resource Management

• Apply a range of approaches to planning and information gathering to build robust delivery frameworks.
• Competent in the use of planning tools to manage scope, timelines, and budgets.
• Solve resource and budgetary issues, managing disputes successfully and independently.

Stakeholder Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders, including governance bodies.
• Understand stakeholder needs and use influencing skills to drive consensus and resolve challenges.
• Manage cross-functional and cross-regional teams, ensuring accountability and delivery.

Communication

• Use various communication methods tailored to audiences and project needs.
• Ensure adherence to standardized tools, templates, and reporting requirements.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and “go-to” person for program/project management standards.

Risk & Issue Management

• Manage risks across project and program levels, escalating to strategic risk management where required.
• Apply lateral thinking and problem-solving techniques to resolve issues effectively.
• Engage with teams proactively to mitigate risks and address challenges.

Customer/Stakeholder Engagement (if client-facing)

• Manage large-scale, multi-site, and high-visibility deployments requiring cross-functional coordination.
• Present program updates and progress to senior executives and stakeholders.
• Develop overall program schedules that align with stakeholder requirements.
• Resolve complex issues and escalations independently at all levels.
• Document lessons learned and contribute to continuous process improvements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in program and project management, preferably across multiple complex initiatives.
• Strong planning, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated expertise in risk management and cross-functional delivery.
• Proficiency with project/program management tools and methodologies (Agile/SAFe).
• Ability to manage budgets, resources, and vendor relationships effectively.
