Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS)

Ciklum is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS) to join our team full-time in Ukraine.

About the role:

As a Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS), become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. We are looking for the one who can help us create an exceptional developer experience and take our developer platform to the next level. We are building the next generation of our Platform Engineering and we are looking for an experienced and talented developer. The one who can swim fast, react and adapt. Responsibilities:

• Planning and developing new engineers-facing products and features
• Building robust and scalable software components and services
• Optimizing applications to maximize speed and scalability
• Collaborating with other team members and stakeholders and globally
• Taking a flexible, proactive approach to your work

Requirements:

• An innovative and exploratory mindset is crucial, a drive to learn; offering new perspectives on existing solutions
• You have experience supporting and maintaining high availability within a SaaS or Web Application and will have strong knowledge of web architecture
• 5+ years of hands-on experience as Devops Engineer in production environments, with an understanding of design patterns and infrastructure
• A strong drive for application and performance testing
• Strong experience with AWS or similar, with a focus on Containeratisation and Kubernetes

Desirable:

• Experience working with GIT and CI/CD tooling (Github Actions, Gitlab, Argo CD)
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug and optimize code
• Clear concise technical documentation; creating and maintaining runbooks and end user documentation
• Comfortable working in Agile teams and participating in daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
• Experience with Container Orchestration (ECS)
• Experience with Lambdas
