We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Delivery Manager to lead our development teams and oversee the successful delivery of projects.
This role involves providing technical leadership, ensuring architectural excellence, and driving the development of high-quality solutions. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, a collaborative mindset, and a results-driven approach.
Employment for this position will be established and managed by Neoris in Brazil, in compliance with Brazilian labor laws. While you will be working on EPAM projects, your employment contract and related matters will be directly handled by Neoris.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage software development teams, fostering collaboration and high performance
- Act as a technical authority, defining and enforcing best practices in system architecture, software development, and design patterns, including SOLID and Clean Architecture principles
- Plan, execute, and deliver projects with a focus on quality and adherence to timelines
- Mentor and support team members, encouraging their technical and professional growth
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions
- Ensure the stability, scalability, and performance of solutions, especially in high-demand and batch processing environments
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in a Delivery Management role
- A minimum of 3 years in leadership roles such as Lead, Manager, Architect, or Coordinator
- At least 2 years of experience managing teams of 20 or more members
- Proven participation in at least 5 full project lifecycles or experience launching products or key product capabilities to the market
- Extensive experience in system development and architecture using Java (17+)
- Strong expertise with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including services such as Compute Engine, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, and Cloud Storage
- Deep understanding of batch processing, including designing and optimizing solutions for large data volumes
- Familiarity with both relational and non-relational databases
- Experience with Agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban and proficiency with project management tools such as Jira
- A strong sense of ownership and accountability for deliverables and outcomes
- Proactive in identifying challenges and proposing effective solutions
- Ability to work collaboratively and foster a positive team environment
- Advanced English communication skills, both spoken and written, to effectively collaborate with clients and stakeholders
