The formation of the UNITE Data Engineering Team is to shape the data transformation of a once-in-a-generation program. What’s the role?

Join our UNITE Program as a Data Engineer and help design and build data pipelines that simplify our technology landscape and deliver measurable business outcomes. This is a permanent role based in Sydney or the Gold Coast (multiple roles available). You’ll work hands-on with modern data platforms like Azure Data PaaS, Snowflake, Teradata Vantage and Informatica, while applying analytic thinking to solve complex problems and shape customer outcomes.

What do I need?

• Hands-on coding skills in Python, SQL and Informatica ETL.
• Hands-on experience with big data processing frameworks such as Spark and Kafka.
• Proven experience deploying solutions in production for large-scale programs.
• Familiarity with Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake Services, Azure Event Hubs, Azure Cosmos DB, Snowflake and Teradata platforms.
• Understanding of data modelling, governance and architecture principles.
• Ability to translate business logic into scalable technical solutions.
• Collaborative mindset with an agile and innovative approach.
• Experience building or applying agentic AI to automate design, development, and testing tasks is a plus.
