Projects Coordinator

We are looking for a Projects Coordinator to join our team! In this role, you will provide management and direction for technical disciplines and lead assigned projects. We are seeking a versatile Projects Coordinator with exceptional communication, analytical, and management skills.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Provide front line project specific support to design and technical teams.

• Reviews and approves technical staffing budget estimates and staffing assignment schedules on each project.

Maintains appropriate staffing level, including temporary personnel, as needed. Reviews and approves staff

forecasting reports.

• Manages architectural efforts and coordinates all technical discipline staffing requirements.

• Monitors the quality and progress of the technical discipline on the project including subcontractors, ensuring

that production requirements are satisfied.

• Works closely with Project Manager to resolve any existing or forecasted problems related to technical discipline

staffing, quality of work, schedule performance, or productivity.

• Review the subcontractor’s / supplier material submittals and follow up with consultant approvals according to

the applicable standards and project specifications.

• Recruits, interviews, and evaluates prospective employees. Hires, offers personnel development, conducts

performance evaluations, counsels employees, takes corrective actions (as required), and approves terminations.

Ensures that new employees receive orientation on company policies and procedures.

• Ensures performance within overhead budgets authorized for the discipline.

• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION:

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture (or equivalent) is required and typically 10+ years of related experience,

including supervisory/managerial experience. Professional registration is required.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES:

• Job Specific:

o In-depth working knowledge of current Autodesk products such as but not limited to AutoCAD,

Civil3D and Revit with proficiency in BIM/ CAD processes

o Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to effectively communicate with

client, management, and project personnel on technical and non-technical subjects.
