What You’ll Own
As a Software Engineer Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining API applications using the Phalcon PHP framework and .Net Core Framework. You will work closely with the development team to create efficient and scalable API solutions that meet the project's requirements and quality standards.

About The Team

What You’ll Own
As a Software Engineer Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining API applications using the Phalcon PHP framework and .Net Core Framework. You will work closely with the development team to create efficient and scalable API solutions that meet the project's requirements and quality standards.
- Develop API applications using the Phalcon PHP and .Net Core framework, ensuring high performance and security.
- Write clean, well-structured, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
- Design and implement database schemas, interact with databases using Phalcon's ORM and Entity Framework ORM, and optimize database queries for performance.
- Write unit tests, identify and resolve bugs, and ensure the reliability and stability of the application.
- Continuously monitor and optimize the application for speed, scalability, and efficiency.
- Use version control systems (e.g., Git) to manage code repositories and collaborate effectively with team members.
- Create technical documentation, project documentation, and knowledge transfer materials.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including 3rd party integration developers, front-end developers, and product managers to deliver high-quality API-first applications.
- Mentor less experienced engineers and help to ensure that the team is following sound engineering practices
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 8+ years of proven experience as a back end developer (PHP and C# strongly preferred) and a strong willingness to learn the Phalcon and .Net Core Frameworks.
- Proficiency in PHP, C#, PostgreSQL or other relational databases, and basic knowledge of web development technologies (JavaScript and Angular).
- Familiarity with MVC (Model-View-Controller) architecture.
- Familiarity with Microservices architecture and .Net Core Framework.
- Experience with RESTful API development and consumption.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
- Experience with other PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony) is a plus.
- Experience with other C# frameworks (e.g., ASP.NET Core Web API) is a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) and DevOps practices.
- Understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
