Customer Insights Analyst
Store Support Center
We are searching for an experienced Customer Insights Analyst for our Store Support Center located at 600 Citadel Drive, Commerce, CA, 90040.
Summary
Responsible for customer, market and competitive research efforts that will guide marketing, sales and corporate growth strategies. Analyzes ongoing consumer feedback and utilizes multiple sources of customer and market data. Establishes foundational consumer insights and KPIs to understand and allow tactical activations based on customer behaviors, psychographics, demographics and attitudes. Creates, synthesizes and delivers results along with recommendations to management team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 3-5 years of experience in an analytical role. Direct experience with consumer and market research tools, techniques, research/survey design, analytics and reporting is required. Retail and Grocery experience is desirable but not mandatory.
COMPENSATION: The salary range for this position is $69,000.00 to $90,000.00. The actual starting pay will be determined by a number of qualifications; including, experience and relevant skills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Manages existing analytics, reporting, data and research methodologies as well as recommends new approaches and data sources to enhance consumer insights functions to deepen customer understanding and drive positive growth for the company.
- Provides sound qualitative research design and execution that adheres to best-practices and methods, directly leading to valid research studies, surveys, reporting, and analytics.
- Manages corporate reputation by responding to customers through key online platforms.
- Researches, compares, helps acquire and uses complementary data sets from internal and external sources.
- Manages outside agencies, vendor contracts and partnerships, ensuring full utilization and quality of vendor investments.
- Independently and proactively oversees, investigates, ensures data integrity, reporting and analytics challenges by continuous oversight of vendors, databases and systems of record.
- Develops reporting and analytics, streamlines processes, executes projects and summarizes recommendations gathered from surveys, customer feedback, research and other analytics.
- Responsible for ongoing and ad hoc consumer research and analytics including market studies, focus groups and customer intercepts.
- Builds and maintains systemic depository of intelligence.Maintains knowledge base and shares relevant studies and published research that impacts business and/or signals potential changes to company’s customers and business landscape.
- Continuously improves output, by increasing effectiveness of research and analytics and the efficiencies related to their production.
- Builds, maintains relationships and interacts productively as an insights expert across the organization.
- Effectively and simply presents results, translates statistical and business terminology to increase understanding by multiple stakeholders.
- May perform other duties as needed, including project management, cross-training and coverage with team members and leading cross-departmental teams
