Your tasks and responsibilities:


  • Management and coordination of the test process across all phases of the software development cycle, from planning to execution and reporting.
  • Creating and managing test plans based on the requirements and technical specification of the project.
  • Planning and managing the development, maintenance, and execution of automated and manual test cases to ensure that the software meets quality standards.
  • Coordinate and train a team of business and IT testers, including assigning tasks and monitoring progress.
  • Providing input to updates for the overall Test Strategy and Test Policy at UI
  • Liaising with development and product teams to ensure testing activities are effectively integrated and quality objectives are met.
  • Performing risk analyses and identifying potential quality issues early in the development process.
  • Monitoring and reporting on the status of test activities and results to relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensuring compliance with quality standards, processes, and best practices throughout the testing process.
  • Managing and optimising requirements towards test environments, test data, and tools to maximise efficiency and effectiveness.


Your skills and experience:


  • A Bachelor / Master degree (preferably in the area of Computer Science or related)
  • At least 6-8 years of experience of software test (functional test and non-functional test
  • Experience in financial services / asset management industry
  • Very good knowledge of common test management tools (e. g. Tricentis qTest, Jira)
  • Professional experience in agile projects as well as DevOps, CI/CD or low-code development
  • Basic knowledge of code repositories (Gitlab) and build pipelines
  • Very good knowledge of common test methods and test strategies (e.g. risk-based testing)
  • Good knowledge of regulatory requirements (BSI, KAIT, DORA, etc.)
  • Fluency in English - both written and spoken
  • Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
  • Good organizational skills and detail-oriented mindset
