The Software Engineering Chapter in Technology & Engineering represents all experts who deliver essential software development and engineering capabilities, to all our product teams. These experts are organized together in a center of competence, the Chapter, to keep E.ON’s code base modern, secure, and excellent.
You and your team are working on E.ON’s HSE app, which informs our employees about health, safety, and the environment in their workplace.

The Software Engineering Chapter in Technology & Engineering represents all experts who deliver essential software development and engineering capabilities, to all our product teams. These experts are organized together in a center of competence, the Chapter, to keep E.ON’s code base modern, secure, and excellent.
You and your team are working on E.ON’s HSE app, which informs our employees about health, safety, and the environment in their workplace.
Your Role – meaningful & rewarding
As a full-stack engineer with a strong front-end focus on the HSE App team, you will:
- Design and build intuitive, responsive UIs in TypeScript with Vue or React
- Translate wireframes and mockups into reusable components and maintain our component library
- Optimize client-side performance, ensure cross-browser compatibility and uphold accessibility (WCAG: Web Content Accessibility Guidelined)
- Integrate your UI seamlessly with our REST/GraphQL APIs and event-driven backend services
- Write and maintain automated front-end tests (unit & end-to-end) to keep our UI solid (Jest, Playwright…)
- Troubleshoot and debug across the full stack—identify root causes and ship effective fixes
- Embrace DevOps practices: contribute to our CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments on Azure
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Hands-on experience in modern full-stack web development, with clear emphasis on front-end work
- Proficient in TypeScript and NestJS, plus expertise in either Vue or React
- Sound knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases, REST/GraphQL APIs and event-driven architectures
- Solid experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps or GitLab CI
- Familiarity with defining cloud resources through Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Bicep or Pulumi)
- Comfortable working in cross-functional, agile teams alongside product, design and ops
