We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead infrastructure automation, platform reliability, and CI/CD excellence. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain scalable systems supporting mission-critical applications in a hybrid multi-cloud environment - directly impacting how thousands of users experience our services every day.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Engineering to deploy new services.
• Plan & execute an architecture that deploys our SaaS as an instance across multiple clouds and platform versions.
• Design, implement, and maintain private cloud infrastructure using IaC tools (e.g., Terraform).
• Manage container orchestration with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Build & maintain robust CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or Cloud Build).
• Automate deployments across dev, staging, QA and production.
• Deploy comprehensive monitoring & alerting; implement New Relic and wire alerting.
• Perform RCA for production incidents; resolve complex technical issues.
• Design & implement system troubleshooting and maintenance procedures.
• Write automation scripts (Python, Bash, PowerShell, Go) to reduce manual work.
• Build tools to minimize errors and improve customer experience.
• Automate provisioning and configuration management; maintain deployment automation across environments.
• Provide L2/L3 technical support.
• Partner with development teams to understand application architecture & operational requirements
• Document solutions; train operational teams on supportability.
• Contribute to project planning and strategic technology decisions.
• Implement AI automations within CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement SOC 2 controls and compliance automation.
• Optimize cloud spend and guide teams in designing cost-efficient architectures and applying best practices.

What We’re Looking For

🛠 Technical Skills

• 5+ years DevOps/SRE with Bachelor's Degree (or 2+ with Master’s/MBA; or PhD with relevant experience).
• CI/CD: GCP Cloud Build, GitHub Actions, Terraform (or similar).
• Containers: Deep knowledge of Docker & Kubernetes.
• Linux: Advanced administration & shell scripting.
• Networking: Load balancing, HA, VPC, NAT, Cloud Armor.
• IaC: Terraform (or similar).
• Cloud Architecture: Private & hybrid cloud; cost optimization.

🏅 Nice to have

• Golang (Go) proficiency
• Relevant Google Cloud certifications (e.g., Cloud DevOps Engineer, Cloud Architect, or similar).

📈 Relevant Experience

• Multi-cloud SaaS instance deployment & versioning.
• Infra provisioning & config management automation.
• Monitoring/alerting & incident response (New Relic or similar).
• Troubleshooting distributed systems in production.
• Security best practices; SOC 2 control implementation & automation.
• Operating mission-critical, high-uptime environments.
