Data Scientist

For one of our clients in the financial services industry, we are seeking an Experienced Data Scientist to strengthen their growing AI & Data team. This position offers the chance to work on complex challenges where advanced analytics and machine learning directly improve business processes and customer experience.

The Role

As a Data Scientist, you will take ownership of transforming business needs into concrete AI solutions. You will be developing, deploying, and maintaining models in production while ensuring they deliver measurable value.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and implementing AI-driven solutions using machine learning, LLMs, and cloud-based services.
• Partnering with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process optimization through data science.
• Guiding junior colleagues and contributing to knowledge sharing across the data community.
• Continuously improving models already in production, ensuring their accuracy and relevance over time.

Your Profile

• Proficiency in Dutch is required.
• MSc in Data Science, Econometrics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience applying machine learning in production.
• Advanced Python skills, with strong knowledge of data preparation, model evaluation, and deployment.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, SQL, and ideally Azure environments.
• Strong communication and consulting skills, able to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

The Environment

You will join a specialized AI & Data team operating within the pensions domain of a leading financial services provider. The team works closely with business experts and other data professionals, including visualization, data management, and advanced analytics colleagues. You’ll also be part of a wider data science guild of around 50 peers, offering opportunities for collaboration, learning, and career acceleration.
