Back End Developer

We are looking for a talented Backend Developer with strong expertise in data migration, ETL, and backend systems development. The ideal candidate will design and build scalable backend services, APIs, and integrations while ensuring seamless migration of data from legacy platforms to modern systems. This role requires a solid foundation in backend programming, database management, and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities

Backend Development

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services, APIs, and integrations.
• Implement object-oriented, modular, and scalable code in languages such as Java, Python, .NET, or C#.
• Ensure backend systems are secure, high-performing, and reliable.
• Collaborate with frontend and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.

Data Migration & ETL

• Plan and execute data migration strategies from legacy to target systems.
• Build and optimize ETL pipelines for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, and reconciliation during migration.
• Perform trial migrations, troubleshoot issues, and implement rollback plans.

Testing, Validation & Optimization

• Conduct unit, integration, and performance testing of backend services.
• Optimize backend systems for large-scale data processing and high-volume transactions.
• Monitor system performance and resolve bottlenecks.
• Ensure backend and data processes comply with security and regulatory standards.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3–8 years of experience as a Backend Developer with exposure to large-scale systems.
• Strong coding skills in Java, Python, .NET, or C# (one or more).
• Solid understanding of object-oriented design, design patterns, and concurrency.
• Experience in building RESTful APIs, Web Services, and microservices.
• Proven expertise in data migration and ETL processes.
• Proficient in SQL and relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
• Hands-on with Git, Jenkins, JIRA, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and agile development practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and performance tuning skills.

Preferred Attributes

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Exposure to message queues and event-driven systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and monitoring tools.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
