Role Purpose(s)

To provide comprehensive support and administration for network environments, including provisioning, configuration, and maintenance of network devices, while ensuring reliable and secure wired/wireless network operations. The role also involves participation in network planning, change management, and 24/7 operational support, both locally and overseas as needed.

Key Accountabilities

• Maintain and support network infrastructure (wired/wireless) across Huawei, Cisco, and Aruba platforms.
• Ensure successful implementation and troubleshooting of 802.1x and routing/switching protocols.
• Handle secure authentication processes including RADIUS/TACACS and certificate-based authentication.
• Participate in change management and network capacity planning activities.
• Provide timely and efficient network operations support including standby and on-site requirements.
• Ensure accurate documentation and maintain strong communication with stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities & Duties

• Perform network administration, provisioning, configuring and firmware upgrade of network devices for network environments.
• Participate in change management, network capacity measurement and planning.
• Support Wired/wireless Networks (Huawei/CISCO/ARUBA)
• 802.1x implementation and troubleshooting
• Routing and Switching Implementation and support
• Radius/TACCS troubleshooting
• CA/Machine/User Certificate Authentication/renewal/request
• Any other duties as and when assigned
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Flexible and able to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
• Positive, self-motivated individual who can complete tasks independently
• Must be a team player and possess leadership skill.
• Must be willing to travel and execute overseas projects when required.
• Must be able to work in 24 x 7 operations standby support environment

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Computer Science or related discipline

Working Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in networking.

Skills Required

• 2 years of operations management experience which includes configuring, fault isolation and resolution related to network infrastructures such as routers, switches, load balancers, bandwidth management systems, DNS, NMS, NIPS, NGFWs with integrated IPS.
• Good understanding of ITIL processes.
• CCNA or other certifications are advantages
