Senior Full Stack Engineer (React+Node.js)

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer specializing in React and Node.js to join our team.

In this role, you will lead the development and delivery of a custom eCommerce consumer communication solution, designed to streamline planning and execution of personalized communications ranging from newsletters to marketing campaigns and transactional communications.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement serverless architectures using AWS Lambda and event-driven components
• Develop front-end user interfaces with React
• Build robust back-end applications with Node.js
• Ensure adherence to design principles and design patterns
• Establish and promote engineering best practices
• Integrate AWS serverless solutions such as AWS Lambdas, Step Functions, S3, and DynamoDB into the project
• Manage and optimize CI/CD workflows
• Maintain communication with stakeholders regarding the project status, issues, and requirements
• Continue learning and improving by adopting new technologies as necessary

Requirements

• 4+ years of proficiency in Node.js and React
• Background in building serverless solutions using AWS services such as Lambdas, Step Functions, S3, Secret Manager, and DynamoDB
• Competency in Event-driven architecture including use of Apache Kafka
• Expertise in AWS including EventBridge, SQS, and SNS
• Frameworks with hands-on experience in CI/CD
• Understanding of test-driven development

Nice to have

• Familiarity with infrastructure as code using Terraform or CDK
• Qualifications in Jenkins for maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Competency in working with and adapting infrastructures quickly and effectively
• Capability to challenge the status quo and voice concerns within a team setting
• Proactive participation in agile development processes
