Lead .NET Developer with AI integration experience

We are searching for a dynamic and experienced Lead [dot]NET Developer with AI integration experience to spearhead the development of transformative, AI-powered solutions for our organization.

This opportunity is ideal for a technical leader with deep expertise in [dot]NET, cloud-native architectures on Microsoft Azure, and advanced AI capabilities using OpenAI technologies, who thrives in collaborative and fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of AI-powered applications leveraging [dot]NET, Microsoft Azure, and OpenAI technologies
• Architect scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions incorporating cutting-edge AI models and NLP technologies
• Drive collaboration across teams, translating AI innovations from research into practical, production-ready solutions
• Foster technical excellence by implementing software development best practices, including architecture, coding standards, and quality assurance
• Inspire, coach, and mentor development team members, cultivating technical growth and teamwork
• Plan and execute technology roadmaps, ensuring project milestones are met while aligning with strategic business needs
• Oversee implementation of CI/CD processes, automated testing environments, and Azure infrastructure as code
• Ensure compliance with security and data privacy best practices across AI workflows and platforms
• Advocate for continuous learning by exploring and evaluating emerging trends in AI and cloud development

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 7+ years of professional software development experience with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role
• Strong expertise in [dot]NET Framework and/or [dot]NET Core application development
• Proven experience building cloud-native solutions using Microsoft Azure (App Services, Functions, Cognitive Services) and Azure AI tools
• Demonstrated ability to integrate OpenAI APIs, GPT models, or similar AI/ML frameworks into applications
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architectures, and event-driven systems
• Hands-on experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, and infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using platforms like Azure DevOps or equivalent
• Competency in technical leadership and team mentorship with strong communication skills
• Ability to navigate and deliver results in a collaborative and Agile-oriented environment

Nice to have

• Knowledge of AI model training, fine-tuning, and deployment processes
• Background in real-time data processing and streaming frameworks
• Expertise in building conversational AI/chatbot solutions or NLP-based applications
• Understanding of security and compliance principles related to AI and data-sensitive environments
