- Conceptualizing and developing game mechanics, features, and systems
- Writing and maintaining detailed design documentation (e.g., GDDs)
- Balancing progression, difficulty, and core gameplay loops
- Collaborating with developers and artists to bring game ideas to life
- Prototyping and iterating on design ideas
- Written and verbal English communication
- Problem-solving and teamwork
- Game engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine
- Gameplay and level design fundamentals
- Player psychology and engagement strategies
- Playtesting and collecting user feedback
- Game design tools and workflows
- Experience with narrative design or storytelling
- Familiarity with analytics and player metrics
- Background in VR/AR game experiences
- Previous work in mobile, console, or PC development
- Knowledge of game scripting or visual scripting tools
