A selective apprenticeship for a motivated Python developer to maintain, improve and build secure, lightweight web systems that can:
- onboard users through clean, elegant forms
- handle document uploads safely
- send automated email reminders
- generate structured reports
— all while remaining minimal, auditable, and compliant by design.
This is not a coding exercise. It’s a real-world deployment in a live environment where every design choice matters.
- Develop web modules using Python (FastAPI) and Jinja2 templates.
- Implement secure document upload and metadata handling.
- Build email reminder automations with tracking and logs.
- Maintain structured logs (audit trail) for all actions.
- Package and deploy modules with Docker and Nginx.
- Solid knowledge of Python 3.x and REST API development.
- Experience with FastAPI (or Flask) and HTML templating (Jinja2).
- Familiarity with databases (Postgres or SQLite).
- Basic Linux server and Docker knowledge.
- Awareness of data security best practices (validation, encryption, logging).
- Rate: 40–50% internship (flexible, compatible with studies).
- Duration: 2–3 months (project-based, extendable).
- Location: Geneva (with remote flexibility).
- Compensation: Unpaid — but designed as a rare apprenticeship with unique advantages:
✅ Close mentorship from Frédéric Sanz — 20+ years leading global fiduciary teams working across Switzerland, Singapore, LATAM, and UAE.
✅ Personal coaching in strategy, leadership, and advanced negotiation (Harvard methods).
✅ Access to deep knowledge of the UHNWIs and family office industry — a sector usually closed to young graduates.
✅ Exposure to cutting-edge AI and compliance systems in regulated environments.
✅ Strong portfolio piece: end-to-end responsibility for a live system with visible impact.
✅ Career acceleration: guidance on how to position yourself for international, high-impact roles.
✅ Potential for future paid collaboration on extended projects.
Ideal for a student or recent graduate in Computer Science / Software Engineering (EPFL, UNIGE, HEPIA, etc.), eager to build real-world systems while being coached directly by a global industry leader.
Send your CV and a short note about your Python project experience.
⚡ This is not a routine internship.
It is an apprenticeship at the frontier of tech, compliance, and leadership — a chance to learn directly from a global executive, gain exposure to an elite industry, and build something that will shape your career far beyond a normal coding job.
