Overview:
As the Senior Sales Manager for Water, Power, Industrial, and Rotating Equipment, you will be responsible for spearheading sales and business development across these sectors in the GCC, with a primary focus on the UAE. Your expertise in rotating equipment, including turbines, compressors, motors, and pumps, will be instrumental in delivering tailored solutions to clients, ensuring the success and growth of the business in this competitive market.
Key Responsibilities:
· Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sales strategies for rotating
equipment and industrial solutions within the water, power, and oil and gas sectors in the GCC and
UAE.
· Client Relationship Management: Establish and nurture strong relationships with key clients,
understanding their specific operational needs and offering customized solutions.
· Market Analysis: Stay ahead of industry trends by conducting thorough market research to identify
new business opportunities, assess competitor activity, and respond to evolving customer
preferences.
· Technical Expertise: Provide in-depth technical support related to rotating equipment (turbines,
compressors, motors, pumps), offering guidance to clients to meet their operational demands.
· Bid Management: Lead the preparation, submission, and follow-up of bids and proposals, ensuring
alignment with client specifications and organizational goals.
· Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, service,
and operations, to ensure smooth execution of projects and exceptional customer satisfaction.
· Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Regularly track and report sales performance against targets,
using data-driven insights to inform strategic planning and decision-making.
· Training and Mentorship: Mentor junior sales team members, equipping them with the knowledge
and skills needed to succeed in the rotating equipment sector.
Qualifications:
· Experience: A minimum of 8-10 years in sales management, particularly within the water, power,
industrial, and oil & gas sectors, with a strong focus on rotating equipment (turbines, compressors,
motors, pumps).
· Regional Knowledge: Extensive experience and understanding of the GCC market, particularly the
UAE, with a proven ability to navigate local business dynamics and customer needs.
· Technical Skills: Comprehensive knowledge of rotating equipment, with the ability to interpret
technical specifications and provide expert guidance to clients.
· Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, capable of conveying
complex information in a clear and persuasive manner.
· Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, or a related field; an MBA is an advantage.
