Senior Software Engineer

🚀 Freelance Software team (*5 positions) – Antwerp Based (Hybrid)

Start Date: Late September - Mid October

Contract: Freelance (long-term extensions expected)

Location: Antwerp (1-2 days per week on-site, rest remote)

2 x Full Stack TypeScript Developers (Web3 focus)

You’ll join a product team developing blockchain-driven applications for the organisation’s digital asset portfolio. This includes market-tracking dashboards, wallet functionality, and secure transaction flows.

Your role will involve:

• Building scalable web applications with React/Next.js and Node.js
• Integrating Web3.js / Ethers.js to enable blockchain interactions
• Working on digital wallet features and portfolio dashboards
• Collaborating with designers and backend teams to deliver seamless UX

• Hands-on experience with blockchain / DeFi projects
• Strong knowledge of API integration and real-time data handling
• Familiarity with security practices around wallets and transactions

2 x Senior .NET Developers (Financial Systems)

You’ll be part of the engineering team modernising their portfolio management platforms, which are used daily by internal stakeholders and external partners. The focus is on stability, security, and automation.

Your role will involve:

• Developing enterprise-grade services using .NET 6/7 and C#
• Designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps
• Ensuring code quality with SonarQube and dependency security via Mend
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust financial applications

• Previous experience in banking, insurance, or asset management
• Strong background in scalability and performance tuning
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards in financial software

1 x Technical Lead – .NET

This role will sit above the .NET team and guide the overall technical direction. The project scope includes leading architectural design for mission-critical platforms used across multiple business units.

Your role will involve:

• Defining the technical roadmap and ensuring alignment with business needs
• Leading a team of senior developers and mentoring juniors when needed
• Making architectural decisions around scalability, cloud adoption, and integrations
• Acting as the key technical counterpart for product owners and stakeholders
