Job Title: Senior Solution Architect

Location: Brussels, Belgium

Duration: 12 months

Languages: Dutch and English(Professional)

Remote Work: 3 days per week

Role Overview:

• Lead the design and onboarding of VNFs (Virtual Network Functions) and CNFs (Container Network Functions) onto a Telco Cloud platform.
• Platform based on Red Hat OpenStack + OpenShift running over Cisco SDN network.
• Translate business requirements into High-Level Designs (HLD) and Low-Level Designs (LLD).
• Hands-on involvement from lab testing to production handover.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate business/service flows into technical infrastructure designs.
• Design end-to-end onboarding solutions for VNFs/CNFs.
• Produce and maintain HLD and LLD documentation.
• Work with NF vendors, infrastructure, network, and security teams.
• Define and validate requirements for virtualization, load balancers, firewalls, and SDN.
• Ensure compliance with standards and governance policies.
• Support automation, CI/CD integration, and lifecycle management.
• Lead architecture/design reviews and guide project teams.
• Oversee lab implementations and transition to production.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Ability to bridge business and technical domains.
• End-to-end architectural mindset with deep Telco Cloud expertise.
• Strong in Linux, OpenStack, OpenShift.
• Knowledge of Cisco ACI fabric, Nexus (N7K), load balancers, firewalls.
• Skilled in creating HLD/LLD.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement.
• Agile and collaborative working style.
• Hands-on technical leadership.

Experience:

• 7+ years in Telco or Cloud Solution Architecture roles.
• Proven onboarding of VNFs/CNFs to cloud-native platforms.
• Experience with multi-vendor, complex service chain environments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automation, observability tools.
• Knowledge of Telco security and compliance.

Preferred Certifications:

• Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA) or equivalent.
• Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD).
• Cisco ACI or Palo Alto certifications.
• Advanced networking certifications.
• Azure Fundamentals.

Roloverzicht:

• Leiden van het ontwerp en de onboarding van VNFs (Virtual Network Functions) en CNFs (Container Network Functions) op een Telco Cloud-platform.
• Platform gebaseerd op Red Hat OpenStack + OpenShift, draaiend bovenop Cisco SDN-netwerk.
• Vertalen van bedrijfsvereisten naar High-Level Designs (HLD) en Low-Level Designs (LLD).
• Praktische betrokkenheid van labtesten tot productieoverdracht.

Belangrijkste Verantwoordelijkheden:

• Vertalen van business- en serviceflows naar technische infrastructuurontwerpen.
• Ontwerpen van end-to-end onboardingoplossingen voor VNFs/CNFs.
• Opstellen en onderhouden van HLD- en LLD-documentatie.
• Samenwerken met NF-leveranciers, infrastructuur-, netwerk- en securityteams.
• Definiëren en valideren van vereisten voor virtualisatie, load balancers, firewalls en SDN.
• Zorgen voor naleving van standaarden en governancebeleid.
• Ondersteunen van automatisering, CI/CD-integratie en lifecyclebeheer.
• Leiden van architectuur- en ontwerpreview en technische begeleiding geven aan projectteams.
• Toezicht houden op lab-implementaties en de overgang naar productie.

Vereiste Vaardigheden & Competenties:

• Vermogen om brug te slaan tussen business en techniek.
• End-to-end architecturaal inzicht met diepgaande Telco Cloud-expertise.
• Sterke kennis van Linux, OpenStack, OpenShift.
• Kennis van Cisco ACI fabric, Nexus (N7K), load balancers, firewalls.
• Vaardig in het opstellen van HLD/LLD.
• Sterke communicatie en stakeholdermanagement.
• Agile en samenwerkingsgerichte werkstijl.
• Praktische technische leiderschapskwaliteiten.

Ervaring:

• Minimaal 7 jaar ervaring in Telco- of Cloud Solution Architecture.
• Aantoonbare ervaring met onboarding van VNFs/CNFs naar cloud-native platforms.
• Ervaring met multi-vendor en complexe service chains.
• Bekendheid met CI/CD-pipelines, automatisering, observability tools.
• Kennis van Telco security en compliance.

Voorkeurcertificeringen:

• Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA) of gelijkwaardig.
• Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD).
• Cisco ACI of Palo Alto certificeringen.
• Gevorderde netwerktechnologie certificeringen.
• Azure Fundamentals.
