We are looking for a highly motivated, team-orientated Operations Analyst to join our growing PrismFP Analytics Operations team. You will be given the opportunity to impact the success of the company and have an exciting opportunity to gain valuable experience in the financial industry. What you'll do
The primary responsibility is the driving of the operational functions within the PrismFP Group. There are many aspects to this role – including:
- Derivative (options and futures) trade life-cycle reconciliations
- Data analysis and internal/external reporting
- Supporting the execution desk
- Management of procedures and accompanying documentations
- Testing and debugging of systems and processes
- Extending the business and data processing functionalities in systems written in Python
- Business management, compliance, and finance support
You will receive full training and support to succeed in this role. We are looking for somebody who is curious about learning how to manage complex data processing systems - eager to build new and automate existing processes, and excited to explore how AI can be applied in development and analysis.
We see it as an opportunity to gradually grow from an Operations Analyst into an Operations Developer.
Who you are
- An aptitude for IT/technical skills and knowledge of Python and SQL.
- A willingness to learn and develop within the business
- Interest in financial markets - fixed income and equity derivatives
- Detail oriented, strong organisational ability with a good sense of ownership
- Enthusiastic, proactive and possessing a keen attention to detail
- Excellent punctuality and reliability
- Good verbal, numerical and written communication skills
- Confidence and poise
Bonus points
- Previous experience with building process automations or web-based applications.
- Interest and/or previous experience with AI process automation tools.
