Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

A leading robotics and AI firm based in Munich are looking to bolster their team with a forward-thinking cloud infrastructure engineer.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and optimise scalable, resilient multi-cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) with cost efficiency, disaster recovery, and security best practices.
• Lead IaC development (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi) and build CI/CD pipelines for automated, reliable deployments.
• Architect, maintain, and optimise Kubernetes clusters and related container orchestration systems.
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting; support on-call rotations; ensure business continuity and production reliability.
• Partner with development teams on infrastructure needs, mentor junior engineers, and evaluate emerging cloud technologies.

Requirements:

• Advanced proficiency with at least one major provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure), including networking, load balancing, and CDN technologies.
• Strong experience with infrastructure as code, configuration management, and CI/CD pipelines with automated testing.
• Skilled in container platforms, especially Kubernetes, for scalable deployments.
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices and hands-on work with monitoring and observability tools.
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Python and Bash for automation and tooling.
