DevOps / Platform Engineer – South Dublin (Hybrid)

We’re working with a leading financial services organisation in South Dublin who are seeking a DevOps / Platform Engineer to join their Cloud and Data Centre Services team on a 6-month contract. This role offers the chance to contribute to next-generation cloud services, supporting business-critical applications with a strong focus on security, automation, and scalability.

📍 Location: South Dublin (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

📅 Contract: 6 months

What you’ll do:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable AWS infrastructure to support high-availability and secure environments.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, and operations teams to deliver well-architected, automated solutions.
• Drive DevSecOps practices by embedding security controls into the platform lifecycle.
• Implement automation to reduce operational toil and improve stability.
• Contribute to the design of resilient, cloud-native systems.
• Provide technical mentorship within the platform engineering team.

What we’re looking for:

• 7+ years’ experience in software, platform, or site reliability engineering, with 3+ years in AWS.
• Strong background in Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud automation.
• Experience in networking, identity & access management, and cloud security.
• Hands-on knowledge of EKS/Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, or AWS native services.
• Experience in regulated environments (finance, fintech, or similar) highly desirable.
