Cyber Threat Analyst

WANTED: my client is looking to hire a Cyber Threat Analyst for a brand new permanent role based in South Dublin. This role is onsite 2 days a week and it is paying €70,000 base and package.

I am seeking a skilled Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst to join my clients growing Information Security team. Reporting to the Cyber Threat Intelligence Manager, you will play a crucial role in protecting the organisation’s networks, systems, and data. Using cutting-edge cyber threat research, monitoring, and intelligence, you will provide expert analysis to help predict and detect threats, and guide operational response efforts.

For this role:

• 3+ years' experience in cyber security incident response
• Develop actionable cyber threat intelligence to detect and mitigate targeted attacks and advanced persistent threats (APTs)
• Analyse attacker tactics, vulnerabilities, and threat indicators to generate meaningful metrics and reports
• Monitor cyber threat trends, malware developments, and adversary techniques
• Design and implement security dashboards and scorecards to inform decision-making across the organisation
• Respond to security incidents by investigating root causes, collaborating with technology teams, and ensuring issues are resolved within agreed service levels
• Conduct malware analysis to assess threats and reduce false positives
• Maintain and update documentation of processes, procedures, and incident responses
