DWH Lead

We are a London-based fintech company with a mindful approach to financial services. Operating under a FCA-approved Electronic Money Institution (EMI) license, MADFIN delivers card acquiring tailored for fast-moving, high-growth businesses. We are looking for experienced DWH Lead to join our rapidly growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure data consistency and accuracy across multiple systems
• Perform data reconciliation and validation
• Build and maintain the financial data layer in the data warehouse
• Develop and optimize data visualizations and dashboards in Grafana
• Lead technical decision-making in the data domain, ensuring scalable and reliable solutions
• Collaborate closely with product, analytics, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights 

Requirements:

Relational Databases (PostgreSQL):

• Strong understanding of relational database principles, indexing, query optimization.
• Understanding of data partitioning and indexing strategies for large datasets.

Python Development:

• Strong skills in writing clean, maintainable scripts for data ETL
• Ability to write scripts that manipulate data inside the DB.
• Experience with automation of data processes, API integrations, and scheduled data jobs.

Grafana:

• Experience in Grafana, data modeling for reporting, and dashboard performance optimization.
• Ability to translate business requirements into effective data visualizations.

General:

• Experience in a high-load backend or analytical project.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to lead technical decision-making.
• Ability to work closely with stakeholders (product, analytics, business) to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights.
• Previous experience in Fintech/ Finance is an advantage 
• Good knowledge of English and Russian language
