POSITION OVERVIEW

For the further expansion of the MDA&SDA home Appliance in Benelux, Midea is looking for an energetic and experienced Products Manager for Home Appliances. The role is to develop and manage products portfolio and support local sales team to maximize sales opportunities with sustainable growth.

KEY JOB REQUIREMENT

• Responsibility for products portfolio, pricing strategy, documentation, and GTM for Home appliance;
• Analysis of the market and customer needs, development of new product offerings, including coordination of pricing and distribution strategies Planning of unit quantities and monitoring of inventory levels;
• Consumer – oriented; Close collaboration with marketing and sales dept;
• Maintenance of databases and systems Support of the sales team Planning and conducting training for employees and customers;
• Previous category management in retail chains would be highly advantageous;
• Business school or university degree in business administration or technical studies, e.g. in economics with a focus on marketing, international business or product management, digital marketing;
• Minimum 5 years of sales experience in Home Appliance or consumer durables;
• Performance-driven and winning mindset; Dynamic, data analysis, good interpersonal skills, ability to evolve in an international environment;
• Strong project management skills: You have the ability to manage and successfully implement complex projects;
• You promote interdisciplinary and intercultural cooperation: You are experienced in working with different areas of the company, from purchasing to R&D to sales, and work closely with our international subsidiaries and distribution partners;
• Proficiently in creating and delivering PowerPoint presentations in English and local languages;

LEADERSHIP & FUNCTIONAL COMPENTENCIES

• Collaborative, good self-awareness and development, strong resilience;
• Good understanding of the Channel structure and home appliance industry;
• Ability to build and communicate report for internal and external customers;
• Good English skills;
• P&L management experience preferred.
