Job Description

  • Lead the design and development of backend systems using PHP (Laravel/Symfony).
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and DevOps to deliver robust gaming solutions.
  • Architect scalable APIs and microservices for real-time gaming applications.
  • Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and guide junior developers.
  • Optimise application performance and troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Ensure security, data integrity, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Stay ahead of emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions.

The Successful Applicant

  • 10+ years of PHP development experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of modern PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, etc.).
  • Experience with MySQL, Redis, Docker, and RESTful APIs.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for clean, maintainable code.
  • Previous experience in gaming, fintech, or high-traffic platforms is a plus.
