C++ Developer - HFT Build

A leading hedge fund is looking to hire high-impact Software Engineers to support it's latest diversification build; a bespoke industry-leading HFT platform. You'll be building the bleeding edged trading systems from the ground up that power some of the most advanced trading strategies in the industry. Responsibilities

• Develop core components of a latency-critical trading system, including order handling, market connectivity, and execution logic.
• Build infrastructure that ingests and reacts to live market data with ultra-low latency.
• Optimize everything — from CPU cycles to cache usage to wire protocols — with performance as a first principle.
• Work closely with hardware teams to integrate FPGA acceleration into the software stack.
• Collaborate with researchers and traders to turn ideas into executable, scalable systems.

Qualifications

• Deep experience with modern C++ (or C), including low-level systems work.
• A track record of building high-performance, real-time systems — ideally in environments where microseconds matter.
• Strong intuition around performance tuning, memory management, and concurrent programming.
• Familiarity with hardware-assisted optimization (e.g., FPGA, RDMA, kernel bypass) is a big plus.
• A mindset focused on engineering for speed, from design to deployment.
