📍 Location: Burgess Hill, UK (Hybrid – 3 days/week onsite)

🕒 Contract Duration: 12 Months

Are you a passionate Java Developer with hands-on experience in building scalable, distributed systems? We’re looking for a Senior Java Developer to join our team on a long-term contract engagement at our client's site in Burgess Hill.

💼 What You’ll Do:

• Design, develop, and test high-quality Java applications (Java 8+)
• Work with event-driven / microservices architecture for high-availability systems
• Collaborate in Agile teams, participate in code reviews, and ensure coding standards are met
• Build and deploy software across test, integration, and production environments
• Drive automation for deployment and scaling
• Monitor, support, and debug systems in a distributed environment

🧰 Your Toolkit:

• Strong hands-on skills with Java, Spring Framework, JUnit, GitHub, API integrations, and Splunk
• Experience with microservices, TDD, and CI/CD tools (e.g., IntelliJ, JBoss, DevOps practices)
• Familiarity with cloud computing and infrastructure technologies
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
