Java API Developer

We are looking for talented individuals to fill a permanent position with one of our esteemed global clients

Location: Sydney, Australia

Eligibility: Candidates must have the right to work in Australia (Citizen, PR, Valid Visa holders).

Role Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based applications
• Build and consume RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services
• Develop and deploy microservices using modern frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Write clean, efficient, and testable code following best practices
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and debugging
• Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies

Required Skills:

• Strong core Java programming skills (Java 8 or above)
• Experience in building RESTful APIs
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Cloud
• Experience with Microservices architecture and deployment
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
• Understanding of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Knowledge of version control tools (Git, Bitbucket)
