Role: AWS DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities
- Responsible for design, implementation, and roll-out updates and improvements to the AWS platform, incorporating an automation framework aligning to existing policies, standards and best practices
- Collaborate with a range of Technology stakeholders to work through a roadmap of System integrations with the public cloud platform and deliver new capabilities
- Ensure the platform is fit for purpose and integrates with required tooling such as SIEM, APM, SRM, ITSM, etc
- Implement a code CI/CD delivery pipeline which will provide automated deployments of Systems into the landing zone, which align with Security, Operational and Cloud standards

- Identify and promote areas of improvement in processes and tooling
Knowledge & Experience
- Demonstrable experience with AWS networking infrastructure, including Direct Connect, Network Firewalls, and Transit Gateways
- Strong knowledge of Infrastructure-As-Code, specifically CloudFormation
- Knowledge and experience in using AWS Build and Deploy tools such as AWS Code Build, Code Deploy, and Code Pipeline
- Highly proficient in using Python and other programming languages
- Worked with Splunk or a similar log analyser
- Experience in automation and delivering automated solutions is essential
- Experience with a well-architected framework would be advantageous
- Good experience of with working with a range of stakeholders from application teams to senior stakeholders
