Junior Project Manager - Client-Side Consultancy

Are you looking to kick-start your career in client-side project management? This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated junior project manager to join a respected consultancy and develop into a future leader in the property and construction industry.

You’ll gain hands-on experience working across diverse sectors such as retail, commercial office, hospitality, residential, education, and aged care. Supported by senior project managers, you’ll be challenged to broaden your understanding of the design and construction process while contributing meaningfully to high-profile projects.

The Role

As a Junior Project Manager, you will provide support across a wide range of projects and learn the fundamentals of client-side delivery. Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting with project administration and contract management
• Preparing and maintaining project cost plans and variation registers
• Supporting consultant engagement and agreements
• Invoice certification and reporting
• Attending design and construction meetings, including preparing minutes
• Coordinating project documentation and filing
• Gaining exposure to the full lifecycle of projects from feasibility to completion
  
  

About You:

We Are Looking For Someone Who Is Eager To Learn, Proactive, And Ready To Take The Next Step In Their Career. Ideally, You Will Have

• A recent tertiary qualification in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
• Must have PR or be an Australian citizen
• 2-3 + years in construction
• Industry experience with a contractor, consultancy, or developer (preferred but not essential)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
• A positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude
