Software Engineer - Front End Javascript - CDI - F/M

As a member of the Javascript team, made up of French and international engineers, you’ll help build Molotov’s services across the web app, connected devices, and Smart TVs.

You’ll also be part of the wider Javascript community at Molotov, with more than 30 contributors from different countries.

We care a lot about UX/UI and performance. You'll work on products that look good, run smoothly, and are powered by a solid backend. We believe in teamwork and long-term code quality, so we use things like code reviews, pair programming, testing, and CI/CD to keep things clean and to move fast.

Your main tasks will be:

• Help define architecture choices on different projects
• Prototype apps on different platforms
• Write unit and functional tests
• Suggest improvements (both on features and technical parts)
• Build new features for our apps
• Join team activities during our Chapter Days and demos, so you stay updated on new trends around the web and video tech

You’ll mostly work on apps and services used on:

• Connected TVs and gaming consoles (Samsung, LG, Xbox, Playstation, etc.)
• New cross-platform projects
• Chromecast
• Computers (Windows, macOS, Linux)
• All major browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Brave)

• Jest, Testing Library
• GitHub + GitHub Actions

You’ve got solid arguments, and we’d love to welcome you on board if:

• You hold a higher education degree (minimum Bachelor’s level - Bac+3)
• You have a solid background with 4 - 6 years of experience
• Your goal is to develop high-end, high-performance products
• You care about UX/UI details and performance (optimization, consumption, loading times)
• You embrace Craftsmanship principles and teamwork to build a high-quality, sustainable application (code reviews, pair programming, automated testing, CI/CD through DevOps)
• You love human interaction and teamwork - a true team spirit!
