About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network Engineer to join our team in Den Bosch on a contract-to-perm basis. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in global network infrastructure, Aruba HPE technologies, and network security. You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and scalable network solutions across our global enterprise environment.

Tasks:

-Design, deploy, and manage enterprise network infrastructure with a focus on Aruba HPE technologies.

-Support and optimize global WAN/LAN environments, ensuring high availability and performance.

-Implement and maintain network security protocols, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.

-Troubleshoot complex network issues and provide Level 3 support.

-Collaborate with global IT teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of network systems.

-Participate in network architecture planning and documentation.

-Ensure compliance with internal security policies and industry best practices.

Required Skills & Experience:

-Proven experience in enterprise-level network engineering roles.

-Strong hands-on expertise with Aruba HPE networking solutions (switching, wireless, ClearPass, AirWave, etc.).

-Solid understanding of network security principles and technologies (e.g., firewalls, NAC, IDS/IPS).

-Experience with global network environments and multi-site connectivity.

-Familiarity with routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and network monitoring tools.

-Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.

-Strong communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus).

Preferred Qualifications:

-Aruba Certified (e.g., ACSA, ACMP, ACCX).

-Cisco certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) are a plus.

-Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure) is advantageous.

-Knowledge of automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Python scripting) is a bonus.
