For our Headquarters in Hasselt we are looking for an experienced UI & Design System Designer.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We’re seeking a creative and detail-oriented UI Designer who is not only passionate about design but also enthusiastic about expanding their skill set into UX. In this role, you’ll focus on designing visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces while integrating our UX principles to enhance the overall user experience.

In this role, you will focus primarily on designing clear, visually compelling user interfaces and supporting the evolution of our design system. The main emphasis will be on UI design and ensuring consistency, efficiency, and quality across our products.

YOU

… will design user interfaces that are both intuitive and visually engaging for mobile (iOS, Android) and web applications.

… will assist in the creation and refinement of UI components and design elements.

…will contribute to the ongoing development and upkeep of our design system and component libraries.

… will develop wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.

… will implement design guidelines and documentation to ensure consistency across all platforms.

…will collaborate closely with the product team and our UX designer to ensure seamless implementation of designs.

…will work with cross-functional teams to iterate on design solutions, delivering high-quality user experiences across various products and platforms.

… will apply our UX principles to enhance usability and optimize user interactions within your designs.

…will foster and maintain a culture of excellence with a focus on craftsmanship and quality.

…will uphold high standards for design and product quality throughout the design process.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience in UI design.
• Proficiency in Figma, knowledge of Sketch is a plus
• A portfolio showcasing your design skills and capabilities.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to creating consistent and effective user experiences.
• Experience with design systems and component libraries.
• Knowledge of responsive design principles and techniques.
• Understanding of accessibility standards and how to apply them.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn and adapt.
• Awareness of technology constraints and their impact on design implementation.
