Data Scientist

We are looking for a Data Scientist to join our client, a leading financial institution in Zurich.

This is a contracting role with the initial duration until the end of the year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support data analytics and business intelligence initiatives focused on internal fraud by developing, implementing, and monitoring predictive models.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to design data-driven solutions for process optimization, handle change requests, produce documentation, and deliver both regular and ad-hoc analysis and reporting.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Master or Bachelor’s degree from a university of applied sciences in STEM fields, economics or banking and finance.
• 3+ years of work experience as a data scientist.
• Strong banking experience.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience in project management or business analysis.
