Software Engineer III, Fitbit, Embedded Systems

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting.
• 2 years of experience working with embedded operating systems.
• Experience in C or C++.
  
  

Preferred qualifications:

• Knowledge of one or more of the following: Linux, device drivers, SoC, microcontrollers.
• Excellent systems engineering skills for embedded software and hardware.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enable new product features in embedded software.
• Design and implement system technologies, such as data management and transport.
• Develop user-facing applications for wearable devices. Write drivers and support for hardware/peripherals.
• Create user interfaces, collaborating with the UI/UX designers.
