Business Data Analyst

We are looking for a Business Controller / Business Data Analyst to join our dynamic global business control team. You will support the Development and Technology R&D units located in several sites. With strong exposure to reporting tools and financial systems, this role offers excellent opportunities for development and growth. You will play a key part in supporting the management of R&D financials through in-depth financial analysis, planning, and reporting. A significant portion of your work will involve using reporting tools to generate insights, support decision-making, and create financial scenarios and simulations.

The position is permanent, and Lund, Sweden or Modena, Italy are preferred locations.

As a Business Controller / Business Data Analyst, you will:

• Support the preparation, consolidation, and presentation of the 3-Year Plan
• Assist in developing presentations for senior management related to financial reviews
• Build and run simulation models to support strategic decision-making
• Utilize business analytics tools to perform data-driven analysis and enable accurate forecasting
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI
• Collaborate with Business Control teams to analyze financial and operational data
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data
• Manage and maintain master data relevant to financial planning and reporting
• Deliver high-quality, timely financial figures to support sound business decisions
• Drive, support, and coordinate various continuous improvement initiatives

We believe you have a university degree in Engineering or Finance, or equivalent and a minimum of 5 years of experience.

We are open to considering candidates without relevant industry experience, and we value a diverse background; however, we prioritize strong academic performance.

You are confident with analysis tools (e.g. Business Objects, Power BI) and able to interpret data.

We see that you are driven, curious and eager to learn and grow.

You have a systematic approach to problem-solving.

You are results-oriented, structured, focused on performance and delivering accurate and timely results. You possess good presentation skills and an ability to clearly communicate with different levels within the organization. You manage pressure well and can work independently and in a team setting.

Excellent command of English, both written and verbal, is required.
