Security Engineer CCTV System

We are looking for an experienced Security Engineer for CCTV System to join our systems integration team on high-profile security infrastructure projects at Dubai International Airport (DXB). The role requires in-depth technical knowledge of Genetec Video Management Systems (VMS), VMware infrastructure for archivers, and Dell Power Scale storage platforms. You will play a vital role in designing, deploying, integrating, and supporting large-scale physical security systems aligned with aviation and critical infrastructure standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the integration and commissioning of Genetec Security Center including video surveillance, access control, and ALPR modules.
• Configure and deploy VMware-based virtual machines for Genetec roles (Directory, Archiver, Media Gateway, etc.).
• Set up and optimize Dell Power Scale (Isilon) storage nodes for high-availability video archiving.
• Collaborate with project managers, consultants, and airport IT/security teams to deliver project milestones on time.
• Review project documentation (BOQ, SOW, drawings) and translate requirements into technical implementation plans.
• Conduct site surveys, hardware planning, and pre-installation assessments for server rooms, control centres, and field devices.
• Ensure Genetec system roles are optimally configured for performance, failover, and scalability.
• Align VM configurations (CPU, RAM, disk) with Genetec archiver workloads and storage throughput requirements.
• Provide Level 2/3 technical support during and post-deployment phases.
• Prepare As-Built documentation, configuration backups, SOPs, and client training materials.
• Assist with training airport security teams and control room operators on Genetec functionalities.

Qualifications & Experience:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Electronics, IT, or a related discipline.
• Preferred certifications:
• SIRA
• Genetec Certified (SC-OTC, SC-VMS)
• VMware VCP (vSphere 6/7+)
• Dell EMC Power Scale Specialist

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years in security systems integration with a focus on video surveillance and IT infrastructure
