Senior PHP Developer

Position: Senior PHP Engineer (Laravel)

Salary: Circa £70,000 - £75,000

Location: Fully Remote (Need to be UK Based).

WeDo have exclusively partnered with a SME who continue to go from strength to strength. Due to customer retention and growth, a Senior Developer is required to join an existing team of two PHP Developers. The ideal develoeper would be someone who is embedded in the Laravel community, passionate about best practice and collaboration.

Company Overview:

Sustained growth has taken headcount to circa 30. The product offers compliance solutions enabling the capturing and archiving of data - this is across multiple median such as WhatsApp/MS Teams etc. Generative AI tooling has recently been implemented.

There is a strong Voice/Networking presence, a separate platform team moving a lot of the solution across into a SaaS/AWS hosted solution. There are engineers focussing on the lower level Python/Scripting layerl; this position would assist the "software team" building out applications, largely for household FinTech clients.

Tech:

• Extensive Laravel Experience (Livewire/Filamentphp/Eloquent/Horizon)
• FE Skills - Alpine/Tailwind/SCSS
• API Design and Development - RESTFul
• Open-source database storage
• AWS platform experience (separate devops team but anyone who has AWS deployment experience a nice to have)

Process:

2 stage interview involving a brief take home assignment. Start to finish, likely to take circa 2 weeks.
