Senior Software Engineer - Android

The Role

This engineering opportunity sits at the intersection of identity, security, and financial access. You’ll play a pivotal role in:

• Scaling adoption: Enhance the platform’s verification and onboarding flows, reduce friction for new users, and ensure account management is seamless.
• Driving engagement: Develop SDKs, APIs, and integrations that enable secure, privacy-preserving use cases while working closely with functions like Product, Data Science, Risk, and Ops.
• Building foundations: Strengthen the underlying infrastructure with a focus on compliance, reliability, speed of development, and end-to-end security.
• Expanding reach: Advance open and decentralized frameworks that allow external developers to build on the platform without dependency on closed systems or single points of failure.

As an Android Engineer, you’ll own critical software components from design through to scaling and long-term maintenance, collaborating with cross-functional partners to ship meaningful, high-impact features.

About You

We’re looking for someone who brings both technical depth and product intuition:

• Proven track record in native Android development, with an ability to deliver clean, reliable, and scalable solutions. Primarily focused on building features.
• Comfortable tackling ambiguous challenges and finding elegant solutions to hard problems.
• Recognized by peers for strong collaboration, prioritization, and ability to focus on what truly matters.
• History of quickly learning and applying new skills, frameworks, and technologies.
• Communicates clearly and simply, both written and verbal.
• Experience feeding user insights directly into product design decisions.
• Genuine interest in domains like digital identity, financial inclusion, and privacy-preserving technologies.

Compensation: $230-000 - $270,000 plus equity
