About this opportunity:

Take Your Career Beyond the Ordinary

Welcome to GO Beyond—Ericsson’s flagship early-career development program designed to accelerate the careers of professionals with 2–4 years of experience. This permanent role blends deep technical ownership with strategic visibility, including a six-month secondment to another business unit to expand your cross-functional understanding and influence.

Shape the Future of AI

Join our diverse, forward-thinking high Impact AI team—develop domain-specific Large Language Models (LLMs) that unlock insights from compliance data (internal policies, trade regulations, and security protocols). If you’re excited about transforming raw data into intelligent systems, this is your chance to make a mark at a global tech leader.

Why Join Us

  • Impact: Shape the future of compliance AI at a global tech leader.
  • Innovation: Work with cutting-edge LLMs and modern AI tools, not legacy systems.
  • Growth: Access global mentorship, internal certifications, and opportunities to grow into roles like Lead AI Engineer, AI Product Owner, or AI Architect.
  • Culture: Join a collaborative, innovative- first team that values your voice and energy.

What you will do:

  • Build and fine-tune LLMs for compliance use cases, starting with internal compliance and expanding to trade and security domains.
  • Design and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines and embedding models.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and compliance SMEs to create robust training pipelines.
  • Deliver a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) for internal compliance search within 6 months.
  • Shape the roadmap for future LLMs across Ericsson’s business functions.
  • Engage in daily coding, model training, stand-ups, sprint planning, and occasional demo presentations.

The skills you bring:

  • 1–3 years of experience in Machine Learning (ML) or Natural Language Processing (NLP) (professional, academic, or personal projects).
  • Strong Python proficiency (NumPy, Pandas, PyTorch, or TensorFlow).
  • Exposure to LLMs, transformers, or embeddings (e.g., Hugging Face, academic work).
  • Familiarity with data wrangling and vector databases (e.g., FAISS, Pinecone).
  • Passion for experimentation, prototyping, and rapid iteration.

Good-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with LangChain, RAG architectures, or LLMOps.
  • Knowledge of compliance, regulatory tech, or security domains.
  • Familiarity with MLOps tools like MLflow or Weights & Biases.
  • Hands-on experience building or fine-tuning chatbots or transformer-based models.

A Unique Development Opportunity

As part of Ericsson’s GO Beyond program, this permanent role includes a 6-month secondment to another Global Functions team. This secondment offers you exposure to a new area of the business (e.g., finance, operations, or Enterprise IT), expanding your internal network and cross-functional insights, while maintaining your primary role (when you return back) and progression within the Enterprise IT.

This is a career-defining opportunity to step into a high-visibility, business-critical area of Ericsson and contribute meaningfully from day one.
