Our flagship campus is in Sydney. We also have a campus in Melbourne and co-working spaces in Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide. But you have choice in where and how you work, we trust our Canvanauts to choose the balance that empowers them and their team to achieve their goals.

What you’d be doing in this role

As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that's all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.

At the moment, this role is focused on:

• Engaging and hyperlocalised frontend experiences
• Collaborating with engineers, data scientists, designers, and product managers to localise Canva features for global markets
• Writing clean, scalable, and well-tested code using TypeScript and React
• Participating in technical design reviews and providing feedback on frontend best practices
• Building reusable components that power Canva’s multi-market experiences
• Maintaining performance and accessibility standards across diverse devices and user groups

• You have experience building modern frontend applications using TypeScript and React

• You understand the importance of localisation, i18n, and accessibility in global products

About the team

The CJKI team focuses on making Canva magical for users in China, Japan, Korea, and India. We’re a cross-functional, global team passionate about building deeply local experiences while scaling global product infrastructure. We work closely with product, marketing, and engineering to ensure our users feel seen, supported, and inspired – no matter where they are in the world.
