Position Overview:

As a Product Intern (f/m/d) at KuCoin EU, you will support the regional product team in developing and optimizing crypto-related product experiences for the European market. You’ll work closely with senior product managers and cross-functional teams to help ensure the success of KuCoin’s European product roadmap. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of cryptocurrency and fintech while learning about product development, user behavior, and regulatory frameworks like MiCAR and MiFID II.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in researching crypto market trends, user needs, and competitive products in the EU
  • Support the preparation of product documentation, wireframes, and requirement specs
  • Collaborate with design, engineering, and compliance teams to track project milestones
  • Help analyze product usage using tools like Amplitude or Hotjar and identify areas for improvement
  • Monitor and report on regulatory updates relevant to EU crypto product offerings
  • Participate in agile team meetings (e.g., stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives)

What You Will Learn:

  • Fundamentals of product management in a highly regulated fintech environment
  • Insights into the European crypto ecosystem and its regulatory challenges
  • Experience in tools and methodologies used by top-tier product teams (SCRUM, data analytics, etc.)

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Business, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Strong interest in cryptocurrency, fintech, and European regulatory frameworks
  • Analytical mindset with basic knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, or data platforms (e.g., Notion, Looker)
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an international environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Bonus Skills (not required):

  • Familiarity with crypto exchanges, wallets, or DeFi products
  • Basic understanding of MiCAR, MiFID II, or DORA
  • Experience with prototyping or wireframing tools (e.g., Figma)
