We are a distributed team of software developers and designers, regularly meeting in the heart of Berlin Mitte.

We are passionate about delivering high quality web applications with a strong focus on user experience, scalability and accurately designed solutions that do the job for today, but also for the future(-feature).

We are currently looking for a dedicated Working Student to join our design team.

Join us and become part of a seasoned team of skilled engineers and experienced UX/UI Designers! We offer you the opportunity to shape and evolve large-scale software projects, work flexibly and focus on interface design and understanding users, not bureaucracy.

Software engineering is always about trade-offs. Thus we try to focus on implementing pragmatic solutions and getting things done, rather than succumbing to dogmas.

Aufgaben

As a Working Student, you will be part of a small team, developing large scalable design systems and digging deep in the crates of figma.

Your Tasks Will Involve a Combination Of The Following

• Research visual trends, branding, and interface preferences
• Concepting, wireframing and prototyping information architecture
• Create and maintain style guides, UI kits, and components up to whole applications (plus dark mode variables, white labeling options and loosing your mind from time to time )
• Ensure colors, fonts, and components are WCAG-compliant – and still beautiful
• Work closely with developers to hand off polished visual assets
• Participate in as little meetings as possible.
  
  

Profil

Our primary requirement is a genuine passion for creating exceptional applications, designing clean and/but creative, and an eagerness to collaborate on innovative projects.

Coupled with first, but solid experiences of hands-on design (preferably made in the Adobe Suite applications and/or Figma) and a recognizable focus on zen garden-like documents, you're the kind of seasoned student we're excited to invite for a coffee chat!

As part of our compact but mighty team, we value the spirit of collaboration and the belief that software development and design is a team endeavor. It's essential for you to be self-directed, thrive in a team environment, communicate openly and directly and enjoy the camaraderie with fellow designers and developers.

Your ability to navigate complex problems with pragmatic solutions is key.

Fluency in English is crucial for seamless communication within our international team.
