Lead BI Analyst

We are seeking a Lead BI Analyst to help our customers achieve digital transformation through data.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate elicitation activities to engage business and IT stakeholders
• Host stakeholder workshops to define and set priorities for their business needs
• Transform business needs into requirements and guide the delivery team throughout the project lifecycle, acting as a Product Owner or Business Analyst
• Perform tasks such as data discovery, data assessment, and data profiling
• Build prototypes of business needs with stakeholders prior to full-scale production
• Conduct Sprint Review sessions or User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Collaborate with customer stakeholders, delivery management, and technical leads during the design phase of data products
• Create post-production materials to help stakeholders increase adoption of deliverables, such as training or marketing content

Requirements

• 5+ years of background in the data domain
• 3+ years of expertise in managing requirements for BI, data, or analytical projects (gathering, presenting, estimating, prioritizing, etc.)
• Capability to transform business needs into data requirements
• Proficiency in delivering end-to-end data and analytics projects, including data visualization, reporting, BI, and advanced analytics solutions, while working in Agile and waterfall settings
• Experience of work on AI projects and familiarity with AI tools
• Understanding of Proof of Concept, Minimum Viable Product, and Minimum Lovable Product concepts
• Evidence of collaboration with business and IT stakeholders, as well as end-users
• Knowledge of the data and analytics landscape and recent industry trends

Nice to have

• Background in prototyping data solutions
• Insights into one or more industries (Finance, Insurance, Oil and Gas, Supply Chain, Marketing)
• Track record of serving as a Product Owner or Data Product Owner on analytical projects
• Familiarity with wireframing and prototyping tools such as Figma
• Skills in creating data visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, or other modern tools
• Evidence of conducting on-site customer workshops
• Math background with strong analytical capabilities
